How a Simple Idea Became a Movement

It started with a question: "What do people really need
right now?"

My name is Anastasiia, and like many young Ukrainians,
I wanted to create something meaningful—a volunteer
organization that could make a real difference. But I
didn't want to just start something random. I wanted to
understand what our community truly needed.

So I watched. I listened. I observed.

I saw mothers struggling alone—trying to rebuild their
lives after displacement, working tirelessly to provide
for their children, all while dealing with trauma and
uncertainty. I saw children who had missed months or
years of school, their education disrupted by circumstances
beyond their control.

And I realized: this is where we're needed most.

Mothers and children affected by war don't just need
resources—they need someone to remind them they're not
facing this alone. They need education, community, and
hope.

The name "Mom, You're Not Alone" came from a simple but
powerful image: a child looking at their mother and saying,
"Mom, you're not alone. I'm here with you."

It's a cry from the heart. A reminder. A promise.

It represents what we want every mother in our community
to feel: supported, understood, and never truly alone—no
matter how hard things get.

I shared my vision with Arina, and she immediately understood.
She said yes without hesitation, and together, we built this
organization from the ground up.

As two Ukrainian students, we know what it's like to watch
our families struggle. We know what it feels like to want to
help but not know where to start. And we know the power of
community when people come together for a common cause.

What started as an idea in early 2026 has grown into something
bigger than we imagined:

• Volunteers from around the world joining our mission
• Families finding support when they needed it most
• Children returning to learning and rediscovering joy

We're still at the beginning, but every family we help, every
lesson we teach, and every volunteer who joins us proves that
this work matters.

Our Mission

To empower Ukrainian mothers and children through free
education, compassionate support, and a community that
reminds them: you are never truly alone.

We believe that:
• Every mother deserves support and understanding
• Every child deserves access to quality education
• Community creates strength in even the hardest times
• Hope can be rebuilt, one family at a time

Our Vission

We envision a world where:

No Ukrainian mother has to face hardship alone

Every child affected by war has the opportunity to learn,
grow, and pursue their dreams—regardless of their circumstances

Communities around the globe come together to support
families in need

Education becomes a bridge to healing, growth, and a
brighter future

What We Believe In

You don't need to be a large organization or have unlimited
resources to make a difference. Sometimes all it takes is
one person saying, "I'm here. You're not alone."

💪 SMALL ACTIONS MAKE BIG IMPACT

Raising children is hard enough without the added weight
of war, displacement, and financial stress. We believe
mothers deserve a community that lifts them up, not leaves
them to struggle alone.

💙 EVERY MOTHER DESERVES SUPPORT

When children have access to learning—even during crisis—
they maintain hope for the future. Education isn't just
about academics; it's about resilience, opportunity, and
believing in a better tomorrow.

📚 EDUCATION CHANGES EVERYTHING

We're stronger together. When volunteers, mothers, and
families connect across borders and backgrounds, we create
something powerful: a network of people who genuinely care.

🤝 COMMUNITY IS STRENGTH

Even in the darkest times, hope exists. Sometimes it just
needs someone to help you find it again. That's what we're
here for.

🌟 HOPE CAN BE REBUILT

How We're Different

  • STUDENT-LED, COMMUNITY-DRIVEN                 We're not a traditional charity. We're young people who saw a need in our community and decided to act. Our approach is fresh, personal, and deeply rooted in understanding what families are going through.
  • WE LISTEN FIRST                                                              Before we started, we watched. We listened. We paid attention to what mothers and children actually needed—not what we assumed they needed. That's why our programs are designed around real needs, not just good intentions.
  • 100% FREE, ALWAYS                                                            Every service we offer is completely free. No hidden fees, no barriers. If you need help, you'll get it—no questions asked.
  • BUILT ON KINDNESS                                                          We're powered entirely by volunteers who believe in our mission. Every lesson taught, every workshop led, every message of support comes from someone who genuinely cares.
  • UKRAINIAN-FOUNDED, GLOBALLY SUPPORTED      Created by Ukrainians who understand the struggles our community faces, but supported by kind people from all over the world who want to help.

 Our Journey Begins

We are at the very beginning of our journey.
Every volunteer, every family, and every conversation helps us grow and move forward together.

Questions You Might Have

You can help simply by being there.
By becoming a volunteer, you support children through online learning, homework help, and kind conversations. Even one hour a week can mean safety, stability, and confidence for a child who really needs it.

We offer free online educational and emotional support for children.
This includes help with schoolwork, learning together in small groups, and gentle conversations that help children feel seen, heard, and less alone.

Our support is for mothers and children who are going through difficult times.
This includes families affected by war, single mothers, and parents who are doing their best but need a little extra support for their children right now.

Yes. Safety and kindness come first here.
All communication takes place in a respectful and supportive environment. We work in small groups and care deeply about creating a space where children feel comfortable, protected, and accepted.

Not at all.
We understand that everyone has their own life and responsibilities. You can help in a way that feels right for you — whether that’s once a week, once a month, or whenever you are able. Every bit of help matters.
